Faithful and Inclusive Small Group Study

You’re invited to a five-session study designed for participants to develop their own perspectives on the Bible’s passages related to homosexuality. Through weekly videos, Rev. Rob Fuquay, pastor of one of the largest United Methodist congregations in the country, creates a safe space to navigate through this thorny issue, relying on the biblical-interpretation approach of Methodism’s founder, John Wesley. Faithful and Inclusive allows you to gain an understanding of how United Methodists can be both obedient to God’s Word and fully welcoming to LGBTQ persons in the church.

This five-session study will meet Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM in the Caldwell library, beginning June 4.

Join Us for a FREE Afternoon of Hilarious Entertainment!

Invite your friends and family to the St. Luke’s Variety Show on Saturday, May 17 at 1 pm for an afternoon full of laughter and fun! Some of the acts include:

  • Sonny & Cher

  • The Boot Scoot & Boogies

  • Men’s Synchronized Swimming

  • And…rumor has it Elvis might make an appearance!

You’ll also enjoy The Dating Game and Musical Chairs with a Twist — definitely not to be missed!

Free beverages will be available (lemonade, tea, & coffee), and snacks will be available for purchase.

We’re looking for more acts to join the show! Do you have a special talent you want to share? Whether it's singing, dancing, acting, telling jokes, performing pantomime, or something else — we’d love to include you. We could also use help with organizing, setup, and tear-down. If you’re interested in lending a hand, please contact the office.
